Memorial Day Weekend

Another great weekend at the beach. Just like normal coastal weather it rained almost the whole weekend but it was great to see everyone having a good time. Many people came from all around to play on the beach. Now there are new things to look for while beach combing. In the local paper it was announced that someone actually found a glass float on the beach. This is not usually the time of year to find any good treasures, let alone a real true glass float. How awesome would that be.
Now, everyone seems to be getting antsy about doing yard work and just getting out and enjoying the area. The weather is to start getting nicer for us around here but what the weatherman tells us and what we get can truly end up being two different things. One thing that is nice, just because the weatherman may say it is going to rain, does not mean that it will. The truest weather report I have gotten around here is looking out my front window. Sometimes if you don't like what you see out that window find another one to look out, it might look better that direction. The weather truly does change every five minutes around here. I have been out in my yard doing work and have it start raining right on me and look across the street and it will be showing blue sky and not a cloud in the sky that direction. This is what really makes it fun at the beach it is always changing. It may not cooperate with what you may want to do but it always keeps it interesting. It is like living on the edge in our own little world.
